Is Coach Bag Worth It Long Term Review

Every Coach Bag Line: The Essential Guide

Set up in 1941, Coach initially focused on men’s small leather goods, while women’s handbags followed later and eventually became the heart of the brand. Firm shoulder bags, soft hobos, satchels, carryalls, crossbodies and archive reissues all belong to today’s lineup of coach handbags. Every major line is examined in turn here, with notes on what the bag is, when it arrived and how it is made. Where a launch date is documented, it is given; several well-known lines, by contrast, have no reliable launch year on record.

As opposed to being taken from an official price list, the prices in this guide are observed market prices from 2026, and size, material and promotions all move them up or down. A buyer picking a first coach bag should keep in mind that similar names can refer to completely different designs. Certain shoppers type “couch bag” when searching for a Coach bag, which can pull furniture listings into the results because that word also means a sofa.

The Tabby Line

Designed as a structured shoulder bag with detachable straps and Signature “C” hardware, the Tabby can also be worn crossbody. Drawing on a form from Coach’s 1970s archive, Stuart Vevers introduced it in 2019. The campaign behind its launch, named “Dream It Real”, is reported to have been shot by Juergen Teller. The main product name is Tabby Shoulder Bag, and sizes 20, 26 and 36 have appeared in listings.

Product names like Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 With Pillow Quilting belong to the padded Pillow Tabby, which followed in 2021. The Tabby 26 was observed selling at $475 in the US and £475 in the UK; quilted and special-edition versions sat higher. The easy switch between shoulder and crossbody wear makes it well suited for buyers who want one bag for both day and evening.

The Brooklyn Line

The Brooklyn is a relaxed coach shoulder bag in natural-grain leather, considerably nearer to a hobo than to the structured Tabby. It was launched in August 2024, following a showing on the Fall 2024 runway. Reports so far point to two main sizes: the Brooklyn 28 and the larger Brooklyn 39. Said to be spacious enough for a 15-inch laptop, the 39 works as a practical work bag.

A newer shape, the Brooklyn Carryall, was reported for Spring 2026, yet bag coach it is a different bag from the shoulder styles. At John Lewis in the UK, the Brooklyn 28 had an observed price of £350. When The RealReal’s 2025 resale report said searches for Coach had jumped 160%, the Brooklyn was among the bags it named, though that figure tracks searches rather than resale prices.

The Rogue

The Rogue is Coach’s structured satchel, fitted with top handles and a shoulder strap. First seen on the Fall 2016 runway, the bag was eventually discontinued; a 2021 relaunch brought it back. The line sits at the top of Coach’s leather range, with versions in regenerative leather and exotic skins. Observed at $8,000, a Rogue 25 in alligator set the highest Coach bag price observed in 2026.

Coach also sells a Made-to-Order Rogue, which has reportedly taken roughly 12 weeks, or around 16 weeks with exotic materials. By way of Coach (Re)Loved, the brand’s own resale and repair program, restored Rogue bags have also been offered. For many collectors, the Rogue demonstrates how far upmarket Coach craftsmanship can go.

The Empire Carryall Family

The Empire Carryall, listed as the Empire Carryall Bag 34, is an elongated, east-west top-handle bag. Its release came in February 2025, following its showing on Coach’s Fall 2024 runway. Fashion press reported that it sold out on its release day. Softer versions, called Soft Empire and including a Soft Empire 40, stand apart from the structured Carryall 34.

On Coach’s own website in the UK, the Empire Carryall 34 was observed at £475. For everyday carrying, the long top-handle shape provides a smarter alternative to a coach tote bag. Anyone comparing listings should check the number after the name, since 34 and 40 are different bags.

Kisslock: Frame, Dreamer and Barrel

Coach links the Kisslock motif to the Bonnie Cashin era; the name belongs to a frame clasp based on vintage coin purses. The word is shared by a number of different bags, and those should not be muddled. Reported as the opening look of the Fall 2026 show, the Kisslock Frame Bag in glovetanned leather was observed at $350. The family may be older than that show, as earlier Kisslock Frame versions also appear in listings.

Made with quilted nappa leather and rivets, the Kisslock Dreamer 21 is an older style, today found mainly as restored or upcrafted pieces through Coach (Re)Loved. The Kisslock Barrel Bag is a Spring 2026 Coach Originals reissue modeled on a 1973 design. A Kisslock Backpack was also presented for Fall 2026, adding yet another use of the name.

Swinger and Swing Zip: Inside The Coach Originals

Consisting of newly made reissues of archive designs, The Coach Originals offers bags that are new rather than vintage. A zip-top, short-strap shoulder bag featuring a turnlock, the Swinger is based on an original design Coach dates to 1987. The current version is the Swinger Bag 20, which is also sold With Chain and in Signature canvas or jacquard. The Swing Zip is a separate Coach Originals bag based on a 1998 design, so the two names are not the same thing.

The Safari Bag from 1968, the Dinky from 1974 and the Hamptons Hobo from 2005 were other Originals reported in early 2025. Reports indicate that the Coach Originals name was already being used by 2020. The line fits buyers who want an archive look without the wear of a properly vintage piece.

The Soho Names: Bag 25, Flap and Sneaker

Covering three different products, Soho is among the trickiest names in the Coach catalog. The original Soho Flap dates from 2006. The Soho Bag 25 is not that 2006 bag but a more compact, newer reissue offered in materials such as glovetanned leather, patent leather and crystal jacquard. Soho styles sit within The Coach Originals, and a Soho Flap Bag in regenerative leather has also been listed.

By contrast, the Soho Sneaker is footwear Coach showcased in 2025 and 2026, so it belongs alongside shoes and coach clothing rather than handbags. Adding “Bag 25” or “Flap” to a search makes it easier to separate the bags from the shoe. Check Coach’s own website before buying, since no reliable current price for the Soho bags was captured.

Willow, Cassie and Juliet Compared

Approach any launch date you see online with caution: these three lines are well known, but none has a documented launch year. Defined by pebble leather, the Willow family has taken in the Willow Tote 24, a Willow Bucket and a Willow Shoulder bag. Coach’s own website has also listed a Custom Willow Tote, and the Willow Tote 24 is a simple example of a coach tote bag. With a Signature turnlock and interchangeable straps, the Cassie Crossbody Bag 19 is part of Cassie, a line of crossbody and top-handle bags.

Cassie styles have stayed listed on Coach’s own website under newer style codes. Juliet is a relaxed shoulder bag in glovetanned leather, available in versions such as the Juliet Shoulder Bag 25 and the Pocket Juliet Bag 30. Because availability changes by season, confirm whether a given Willow, Cassie or Juliet style is still current before relying on an older review.

All the Lines at a Glance: Observed Prices

Line by line, the table below lists the shape, the key date and, where one was reliably captured, an observed 2026 price. Size, material, color and promotions all affect these numbers, which are observed market prices rather than an official Coach price list. Sales tax is left out of US prices, while VAT is part of UK prices. Full-price styles can be marked down during sales, and a coach outlet offers its own promotions on outlet styles.

Coach Outlet is Coach’s own official channel, reached through outlet stores and an official online outlet section on Coach’s own website. Coach’s head of investor relations, quoted in 2014, indicated that around 85% of outlet merchandise was made specifically for the outlet channel. Since then, Tapestry has discussed bringing some full-price collection product into outlets, and that figure is dated. A full-price coach store or Coach’s own website remains the place to find current-season lines.
